Yard Work is the recording project of Asheville-based artist and composer Chase Hudson. With over twenty years of experience recording music, Hudson's work is inspired by the little moments that bind us to a place, to one another, and to a deeper sense of meaning.

His compositions explore the meditative process of rendering moods or imagery into sonic capsules, combining delicate beds of synth with subtle live instrumentation. The result is spacious, emotive music that lingers like memory— reflecting on beauty, nostalgia, and the passage of time.

The first Yard Work EP, Time Slows, is set for release in 2026 with Asheville-based publisher, Drum Machine Editions. Hudson is currently seeking collaborations with filmmakers, visual artists, and storytellers.
