Yard Work is the recording project of Asheville-based artist and composer Chase Hudson. Over 10 years since his debut release as "Foothills" with revered Chicago label PATIENT SOUNDS, Hudson has emerged from gestation as YARD WORK. This project rekindles Hudson's distinctive voice, inspired by the little moments that bind us to a place, to one another, and to a deeper sense of meaning.

His compositions explore the meditative process of rendering moods or imagery into sonic capsules, combining delicate beds of synth with subtle live instrumentation. The result is spacious, emotive music that lingers like memory— reflecting on beauty, hope, and impermanence.

The first Yard Work EP, Time Slows, is set for release in 2026 with Asheville, NC-based publisher, Drum Machine Editions.
